Cinematographer, Filmmaker, Finance, CEP
From Bellevue, Washington to Laie, Hawaii I've had the privilege of studying film courses across the Nation. After graduating from Salt Lake Community College where I studied both Film and Finance, I decided to pursue film education further by joining Parker Walbeck's "Fulltime Filmmaker" Online Course. Throughout my career in finance, I've also had the opportunity to obtain my FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 brokerage licenses, and the Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business.
REMOTE PILOT DRONE CERTIFICATION
"Why does it matter if my drone pilot is certified?"
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) states that any individual flying (or conducting a flight crew) using a small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) weighing 55 pounds or less is required to comply with Part 107 of FAA regulations, including obtaining the Part 107 UAG Airmen (Remote Pilot) Certificate. In order to comply with these regulations and avoid fines or other consequences, it's important that companies hiring a Drone Pilot for commercial use ensure that the pilot has completed the associated knowledge test and obtained this certification. Matthew Watts is a current holder of the Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
